The Summit
Berkeley Haas School of Business
October 14, 2022
9AM - 4PM
At Berkeley, we bring together diverse perspectives on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) from experts in academia and industry to bridge the gap between technical study and global reality.
We seek to break past the clichés and technical details and help all people to start thinking about AI/ML in a more comprehensive, nuanced, and thoughtful way, preparing effective and responsible future leaders. We also intend for this to be a useful networking platform for interaction between students and professionals. This event will consist of multiple speakers with diverse backgrounds in AI/ML as well as opportunities for attendees to speak with representatives from AI-based companies from startups to major tech firms.
Theme: AI Everywhere - The Democratization of AI
AI is no longer a mystical technology only reserved for the academics. AI is being integrated into more and more products we use in our everyday life. From recommendation systems to conversational AI, we aim to explore how AI has evolved over time and how it's become an essential part of our lives.
